Condos Selling FAST in 2018

Real estate in Canmore got off to a decent start in 2018 with 27 properties being sold across all residential property types.  The Canmore.net team was successful in securing 3 of those properties for our clients meaning that we were involved in more than 10% of the transactions for the month.  With such limited inventory available on the market (123 active listings at the time this article was published), multiple offer scenarios were inevitable.  Buyers who had been sitting back and waiting for the right property to come along were anxious to put the holiday season behind them and move forward with their home search.

*the average days on market for condo sales is skewed due to the sale of several properties that had been on the market for over a year.
